To help you prepare and save time during the peak season of this year’s Tet Holidays, as of November 2022, Vietnam Airlines established online check-in at all domestic airports. We are the first airline in Vietnam to implement this user-friendly service at all airports nationwide.

With just a few simple steps on Vietnam Airlines’ app or website, you can easily buy tickets, make reservations, and complete online check-in from 24 hours to 1 hour before departure time. Meanwhile, you can use many of our other services to enjoy an even better flight, such as seat selection, secure my fare, extra seats, prepaid baggage, pre-purchased meals, seat upgrades, and other special services.

Apricot and peach blossoms as gifts for your loved ones

From December 26th, 2022, to the end of February 5th, 2023 (i.e., from the 4th day of the 12th month of the Year of the Tiger to the 15th day of the 1st month of the Year of the Cat), every passenger on Vietnam Airlines’ domestic flights will be allowed to carry 01 bunch of peach/apricot blossoms as checked baggage at a freight cost of VND 450,000/bunch (excluding VAT). A bunch must not exceed 02 branches, with a maximum size of 150x40x40cm.

Flowering peach/apricot boughs carried by passengers are not included in the free baggage allowance and therefore are not eligible for prepaid baggage service. Vietnam Airlines will treat all other ornamental plants, flowers, and other plants that are potted/covered with potting soil as cargo in accordance with regulations to ensure a safe flight.
