Within the framework of the Vietnam–Singapore Tech Connect Forum, held during the State visit to Singapore by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and State President To Lam, Vietnam Airlines exchanged Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) on the development of a Frequent Flyer Partnership with Singapore Airlines, as well as digital payment agreements with Adyen N.V. and 2C2P by Antom, part of Ant International.

These agreements advance Vietnam Airlines’ strategy to expand international cooperation and accelerate digital transformation, while strengthening its capabilities in loyalty and digital payment services.

Vietnam Airlines and Singapore Airlines signed a MoU to explore reciprocal cooperation between Lotusmiles and KrisFlyer, their respective frequent flyer programmes, as both airlines strengthen their strategic partnership. The airlines will work towards opportunities for their members to earn and redeem miles across both carriers’ networks. Both sides will also explore reciprocal privileges for eligible members including priority check-in and boarding, lounge access and other travel benefits.

The MoUs will further advance Vietnam Airlines’ strategy to expand international cooperation and accelerate digital transformation

Le Hong Ha, Vietnam Airlines President and CEO said: “Collaboration with leading partners in Singapore strengthens Vietnam Airlines’ network and supports our ambition to elevate customer experience to international standards. We aim to deliver a seamless end-to-end journey, from booking and payment to loyalty benefits, while further enhancing connectivity within the regional aviation landscape. Vietnam Airlines will continue to deepen cooperation in technology, data, and services as it advances toward becoming one of Asia’s leading modern, customer-centric digital airlines.”

Singapore Airlines believe that the expanded partnership would deliver greater value to customers of both airlines. Dai Haoyu, Singapore Airlines Senior Vice President Marketing Planning commented: “This agreement marks another step in strengthening Singapore Airlines’ partnership with Vietnam Airlines. By exploring reciprocal benefits for KrisFlyer and Lotusmiles members, we aim to provide customers with more rewarding and seamless travel experiences, while supporting greater connectivity between Singapore, Vietnam, and the wider region.”

Vietnam Airlines has also partnered with Adyen N.V. and 2C2P to implement enhanced payment solutions aimed at improving transaction capabilities, strengthening security, and optimizing costs, while delivering a more consistent experience for international customers. Warren Hayashi, Adyen President of Asia-Pacific, stated: “This agreement supports Vietnam Airlines’ global growth by unifying payments on Adyen’s platform. With streamlined gateway, acquiring, and checkout services, the airline can reduce complexity, improve performance, increase authorization rates, expand confidently into new markets, and deliver smoother payment experiences for travelers worldwide.”

Sharing a common vision of enhancing customer experience in the digital environment, Worachat Luxkanalode, Group CEO of 2C2P by Antom, shared: “Today’s travellers expect seamless and localised checkouts. As part of Ant International, 2C2P by Antom is excited to empower Vietnam Airlines to deliver a more intuitive and inclusive customer experience and unlock the economic potential of Asia Pacific, advancing Ant International’s commitment to cross-border connectivity and digital innovation in Vietnam.”

The cooperation with one of the world’s leading airlines, alongside global fintech partners, is part of Vietnam Airlines’ long-term strategy to strengthen competitiveness amid the aviation industry’s shift toward digitalization and data integration. The integrated platforms are expected to improve operational efficiency, expand access to international markets, and deliver a more seamless end-to-end customer experience.

Singapore is one of Vietnam Airlines’ key international markets in Southeast Asia. From January 1991 to April 2026, Vietnam Airlines operated nearly 62,000 flights between Vietnam and Singapore, carrying approximately 8.6 million passengers.

Vietnam Airlines currently operates 32 flights per week between the two countries, connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Singapore. Starting from late October 2026, Vietnam Airlines is expected to increase the Hanoi–Singapore frequency to 14 flights per week to better meet the growing demand for trade, investment, and tourism between the two countries.
