Russia is known for its dreamy golden autumns while Canada is famous for its scarlet maple forests. Japan and Korea also impress travelers with their own ‘crimson season,’ which peaks from October to November.
This is the busiest flight season for Japan and Korea, especially since these countries have removed entry restrictions on foreign travelers and reintroduced attractive incentives for both domestic and foreign tourists to kick-start their aviation and tourism industries.
In addition to their natural beauty, both countries are famous for their ancient cultural traditions and their vibrant mixture of past glories and modern lifestyles. Being among the top destinations for Vietnamese tourists, Japan and Korea are important aviation markets for Vietnam Airlines.
In the first nine months of 2022, Vietnam Airlines transported more than 200,000 passengers between Vietnam and Japan, and nearly 250,000 passengers between Vietnam and Korea. These figures are expected to increase even more as travel demand, especially for tourism, continues to rise.
From November 2022, Vietnam Airlines is resuming operations of all flight routes to Korea, including Nha Trang – Seoul with 07 flights/week; in addition to increasing the frequency of Ho Chi Minh City – Seoul and Hanoi – Seoul flights to 14 flights/week.
For flights to Japan, Vietnam Airlines is also increasing operational frequency to 11 flights/week between Hanoi – Tokyo and 06 flights/week between Ho Chi Minh City – Tokyo. From April 2023, the carrier will start to restore operational frequency and capacity on all flights to Japan, including the Danang – Tokyo route, while the Danang – Osaka route will be reinstated by the end of 2023.
At this time, Vietnam Airlines is offering exclusive prices for flights between Hanoi and Seoul. One-way prices (including taxes and fees) start from just VND4,500,000 (USD187) and return trips start from VND8,000,000 (USD337) for passengers purchasing tickets from now until the end of November 30, 2022, with departure dates until the end of December 31, 2022.
