1. Membership upgrades for domestic travelers

Until December 31, 2021, Lotusmiles members will enjoy a free membership upgrade if they satisfy one of these following conditions: Platinum upgrade if they have traveled on 35 domestic flights (instead of 50); Gold upgrade for 20 flights (instead of 30); and Titanium upgrade for 10 flights (instead of 20). All flights must be operated by Vietnam Airlines, with the VN airline code printed on the ticket.  This offer applies to booking classes M, B, Y, U*, Z, W, I*, D, C, and J.

2. Easy upgrades to Titanium

Lotusmiles members will immediately receive a free upgrade to the Titanium tier upon successfully obtaining a Vietcombank Vietnam Airlines American Express Platinum credit card. In addition, cardholders who make purchases with their this card can earn bonus miles and other benefits, such as a free Priority pass for two entries into the Business Lounge each year. Extra bonus miles depending on spending, global travel insurance of up to VND 23 billion, free annual fees in the first year for the secondary card and one co-branded Vietcombank card (with other brand names apart from VNA).

3. Exchanging for qualifying miles/flights

Members can exchange bonus miles for qualifying miles or flights to upgrade their Lotusmiles membership as follows: 15,000 bonus miles for 1,000 qualifying miles or one qualifying flight. Members need only log in to their accounts on Vietnam Airlines’ website or apps to exchange miles/flights. Members can also make these exchanges and receive further support at Vietnam Airlines’ branches.

4. Hotel benefits for members

Until December 01, 2022, Lotusmiles members will receive the following benefits upon booking online at Intercontinental Hotel Group, including and not limited to discounts of 10% on rooms and 15% for dining; early room check-in and late check-out; and free hotel room upgrades. To receive these benefits, Lotusmiles members must register for membership in IHG Rewards. Other conditions may apply in this promotion.
