Passengers purchasing Economy Flex and Economy Classic tickets for some domestic flights departing before the end of December 27, 2023, can get upgraded to Business class and experience various high-quality Vietnam Airlines services without extra charges. This includes Business check-in, priority boarding, and in-flight services such as seating, meals, and entertainment for Business class.
Eligible domestic routes include:
+ Flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City departing before or at 6am or after 9pm that are directly operated by Vietnam Airlines.
+ Other domestic routes:
– Flights between Hanoi and Vinh/Dong Hoi/ Buon Ma Thuot/ Pleiku/ Tuy Hoa/ Chu Lai/ Can Tho
– Flights between Hai Phong/ Vinh and Nha Trang
– Flights between Thanh Hoa and Buon Ma Thuot
– Flights between Hue and Dalat
– Flights between Danang and Hai Phong/ Buon Ma Thuot/ Can Tho
– Flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Phong/ Thanh Hoa/ Van Don/ Vinh/ Buon Ma Thuot/ Pleiku/ Tuy Hoa/ Chu Lai/ Dong Hoi.
*Please note:
– To upgrade to Business class for free, passengers must send a request immediately after purchasing their tickets, or at least 03 days before the planned departure date.
– Upgraded passengers cannot use the Business lounge.
– Lotusmiles accrual and luggage allowance remain the same as for the original ticket.
– Upgrades depend on the requested Business seat availability and the flight’s departure time, and are subject to limitations during peak periods.
– In case of an itinerary change, requests for Business class upgrades must be made at least 03 days before the new departure date.
– Passengers who purchased tickets through online agents, Vietnam Airlines’ website, or mobile app, should visit one of the airline’s ticket offices or contact 1900 1100 to request this free upgrade.
