To celebrate the new year, designer Do Trinh Hoai Nam has released a new collection inspired by different species of flowers, which are symbols of beauty, vitality, spring, and love. Do Trinh Hoai Nam, famous for flowing áo dài, brought freshness and romance to his “Colors of Flowers” (Sac hoa) collection with skillful paintings of flowers on dress panels.

The collection features a wide range of bright and radiant colors on dresses which were designed on silk then cut by hand and joined with Korean fabrics. Floral and dragon motifs and French knots are embroidered to adorn the fabric joints.

For this photoshoot, creative director Huong Color drew inspiration from renowned artist Nguyen Thu Nghiem’s series of “Ancient Dance” paintings. In the masterworks, figures in áo dài dance against subtle and varied color palettes.
