Recently, the French Embassy in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports, held an inauguration ceremony for two “Storytelling Boxes”, and handed them over to the Ho Chi Minh City Museum and the Southern Women’s Museum. Vietnam is the first foreign country where France has implemented this program, similar to one in Lyon, France.

The Storytelling Boxes are technological tools designed to inform museum-goers, based on an initiative from the Confluences Museum (France). Each box includes a control panel that allows visitors to select the data they want to explore, using pre-set icons. The artifacts introduced by these boxes are explained in concise yet unique three-minute narrations, accompanied by relevant information and images.
