Vietnam Airlines has been ranked 16th among the world’s top 25 full-service airlines in 2026 by AirlineRatings.com. The airline also earned first place in both “World’s Best Value Business Class Product” and “World’s Best Value Premium Economy Product” categories.
AirlineRatings’ annual evaluation assesses carriers based on product quality, passenger experience, comfort, service options, and overall value across their networks. Vietnam Airlines’ recognition reflects its sustained commitment to international service standards, with safety remaining the airline’s top priority.
Notably, Vietnam Airlines secured the top global ranking for value in both Business Class and Premium Economy. This distinction highlights the airline’s strong competitive edge in delivering premium products that effectively balance comfort, service quality, and affordability across its domestic and international network. Its cabins are designed to elevate the travel experience, offering more spacious seating, greater privacy, and thoughtfully curated amenities to ensure passenger comfort throughout the journey.
In recent years, Vietnam Airlines has consistently enhanced its products and services—from operating modern wide-body aircraft to introducing thoughtfully designed cabins and upgraded in-flight amenities. The airline is redefining the travel experience through its innovative “five senses” concept, engaging passengers’ sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch from check-in through to arrival. At the same time, it continues to strengthen its safety management system in line with ICAO and IATA standards, fostering a strong safety culture across all operations.

Vietnam Airlines has standardized its cabin design, refined in-flight dining and beverage offerings, introduced a signature scent, and further elevated the quality of its cabin crew service. These enhancements are complemented by significant investments in ground services, including upgraded business lounges across domestic airports. A standout innovation is the airline’s private check-in lounge at Terminal 3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport—the first of its kind in Vietnam—where passengers can complete check-in procedures in a dedicated, private space before entering the main terminal. Together, these end-to-end improvements create a more seamless, refined, and elevated travel experience.
Dang Anh Tuan, Executive Vice President of Vietnam Airlines, said: “Being recognized again by AirlineRatings among the world’s best full-service airlines, and leading in the Business and Premium Economy value category, is a significant encouragement for Vietnam Airlines. More importantly, it acknowledges our ongoing efforts to maintain the highest operational safety standards while continuously enhancing service quality.”
Vietnam Airlines currently operates 113 routes connecting 22 domestic destinations with 39 international destinations across 22 countries, supporting trade, tourism, and global connectivity. The airline maintains a modern fleet of more than 100 aircraft, including advanced wide-body models such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350, alongside next-generation narrow-body aircraft, ensuring both passenger comfort and operational efficiency.
Looking ahead, Vietnam Airlines aims to achieve a 5-star international airline rating by 2030, while continuing to modernize its fleet and further elevate service quality and passenger experience across its network. Maintaining and enhancing operational safety standards will remain the cornerstone of this ambition.
Vietnam Airlines’ rise in the 2026 AirlineRatings rankings not only affirms its position among the world’s leading full-service carriers but also strengthens its presence on the global aviation stage.
