The collaboration is expected to bring outstanding benefits to tourists and contribute to promoting tourism development between Vietnam and Singapore.

As per the agreement, Vietnam Airlines and Sentosa Development Corporation will collaborate to develop tourism products and promotional programs to promote Sentosa as a top-of-mind destination and attract passengers flying with Vietnam Airlines to visit and enjoy activities at Sentosa Island, Singapore. Travelers will be able to enjoy attractive offers such as exclusive packages, promotions, and boarding privileges for the Lotusmiles members.

At the same time, both parties will collaborate on promoting Sentosa as a premier tourist destination and the products and services of Vietnam Airlines. Through this initiative, Vietnam Airlines will present Sentosa as a top destination for travelers visiting Singapore, while SDC will promote Vietnam Airlines to its partners in Singapore.

Through this, we aim to not only bring exceptional benefits to travelers between Vietnam and Singapore but also to enhance the role of the national airline contributing to fostering economic, commercial, and cultural exchanges between the two countries. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Collaboration today also lays a solid foundation for both parties to move towards even broader cooperation in the future.”

Through this Memorandum of Understanding, tourists with the Vietnam Airlines boarding pass can enjoy a host of privileges, including a complimentary ticket to one of our popular attractions, Wings of Time, an outdoor night show with laser effects and pyrotechnics, or board our intra-island cable car. With our newest day-to-night attraction Sentosa Sensoryscape set to soft launch in March, there will be even more new adventures and experiences to be discovered and we welcome our friends from Vietnam to Sentosa’s shores.”  

Vietnam Airlines currently operates nearly 100 routes to 22 domestic and 29 international destinations. Among these, Singapore holds particular significance as a destination in the Southeast Asia region. The airline operates direct flights to Singapore from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, with 28 flights per week and international standard services. For many years, Vietnam has been recognized as one of the top 10 key markets for Singapore in terms of tourist arrivals.

On the occasion of the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding, both parties have decided to collaborate on building a special offer program for Vietnam Airlines customers flying to Singapore. Accordingly, all passengers can enjoy complimentary admission into Sentosa Island as well as a complimentary ticket to a choice of either one of our top attractions, Wings Of Time night show or the Sentosa Island intra-island Cable Car.  Additionally, Vietnam Airlines passengers can simply present their boarding pass at any Sentosa ticketing counter and enjoy a 20 percent savings when purchasing the Sentosa Fun Discovery Pass which provides access to multiple experiences in Sentosa. The promotion is applicable to passengers from now until March 31, 2024.

Additionally, Vietnam Airlines will launch an early bird program for business class round-trip tickets starting from 07 days prior to the departure date with special discounted prices (including taxes and fees) from only 11,499,000 VND for the route between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore and from only 15,299,000 VND for the route between Hanoi and Singapore. The promotion is applicable to passengers purchasing air tickets from now until March 31, 2024 (with departure at least 7 days from the date of ticket purchase), for flights until May 15, 2024, and is not applicable during certain periods.
