From August 4 to August 6, 2023, the first-ever River Festival will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, featuring a plethora of activities and captivating artistic programs. This event aims to emphasize the preservation of traditional culture, celebrate the city’s rivers and canals, and call upon community participation in environmental protection. The festival will take place in Saigon Port – the maritime passenger port, Bach Dang Wharf Park, Binh Dong Wharf, Nhieu Loc – Thi Nghe Canal, and various other tourist spots across the city. It is expected that nearly 50 tourism stimulus programs and new waterway tourism products will be introduced to visitors during this event.
