Duong Lam is beautiful every season, but as a photography enthusiast, I find it especially enchanting on sunny autumn days.
I love to explore every nook and cranny, feeling the gentle breeze that caresses the leaves and the slanted sunlight filtering through the trees. Childhood memories flood back when I see children joyfully splashing in the cool, clear water of the village’s well, watched by their grandmother.
Narrow, sunlit alleys, laterite stone walls, and lively conversations on front porches all become focal points in my photo series. These simple moments are rich with emotion and reflect my deep connections to this place.
Each photograph captures a piece of the story, contributing to the broader narrative of life in Duong Lam. I hope my “Countryside Sunshine” photo series will inspire visitors to spend a weekend in this ancient village, discover its rich history, and embrace the tranquil rhythm of local life alongside its warm-hearted residents.
