In folk culture, the crane symbolizes nobility, longevity, luck and peace. Inspired by traditional imagery, designer Nga Cocoon has stylized the crane using layered long-leaf patterns in her new áo dài collection “Dances of the Crane.”
Designs on satin brocade feature hand embroidery in a black-and-white color palette with flowery accessories and unique conical hats made from almond leaves by Hue artisans.
“Dances of the Crane” is poetic and musical, standing out against the background of the 1300-year-old ancient town of Wuzhen.
With more than 15 years of experience, Nga Cocoon has created several unique áo dài designs with the distinctive leaf motif, which embody her unique and striking style.
