Held from mid-November to December 7, 2024, the festival will involve many events, including the Bac Ha General Sports Tourism Competition; the Third Northwest Mountain Marathon; the Bac Ha Ethnic Sports Festival; the Ethnic Minority Clothing Contest; and the Bac Ha Mong People’s Khen (Reed Panpipe) Art Performance Contest. Other enticing programs will take place at the century-old Hoang A Tuong Mansion, such as re-enactments of highland markets; recreations of Mong, Tay, Nung, and Dao cultural spaces in Bac Ha district; the Rose Festival; and the “Brocade and Gifts from Roses” exhibition.
