Inspired by the beauty of Northern ‘a dao’ singers of yesteryear, designer Adrian Anh Tuan recently unveiled his latest Fall/Winter and holiday collections.

The collections feature crimson and peach as primary colors of combined with cream, brown and beige tones. The designer’s skillful use of winter fabrics such as wool, flannel and tweed alongside Bao Loc silk and brocade creates a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. Techniques such as pleating, laser cutting and draping were employed to bring long dresses and floor-length coats to life, while evoking classic four-panel dresses.

The collections were photographed in a space filled with traditional Vietnamese architecture at Yen Tu mountain.
