With just a few days left until the Paris 2024 Olympic Games kick off, excitement is building and athletes are ready. OMEGA, the Official Timekeeper, has joined the Olympic spirit by unveiling a new Speedmaster Chronoscope model featuring the event’s primary colors.
The Speedmaster Chronoscope comes in four versions, each with a 43 mm case, showcasing the gold, black, and white tones of the Paris 2024 Olympics. The steel version includes an anodized aluminum bezel, while the MoonshineTM gold version (OMEGA’s exclusive gold alloy known for its refined and lasting shine) features a ceramic bezel.
The standout feature is the silvery white opaline dial with a spiral design inspired by the 1940s, incorporating three scales: a tachometer, a pulsometer, and a telemeter. This watch embodies the spirit of OMEGA’s role as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932.
The Arabic numerals are crafted from 18K MoonshineTM gold, and the leaf-shaped hands are also coated in MoonshineTM gold. The case back is engraved with the Paris 2024 logo in a polished and matte finish.
Inside the OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9908/9909 movement, certified by METAS to the highest standards of precision, performance, and magnetic resistance in the Swiss watch industry.
Two other versions of the Speedmaster Chronoscope Paris 2024 include a steel model with a perforated black calf leather strap and an 18K MoonshineTM gold version with a standard black calf leather strap.
