DONG NHI — ONG CAO THANG

Hello to the artist family of Dong Nhi and Ong Cao Thang. What were your first impressions of each other?

Dong Nhi: I remember the first time we met, we weren’t particularly impressed with each other because Mr. Thang was already famous while I was just an ordinary person. It wasn’t until later when we had the chance to work together on a program that we began to understand each other better and then agreed to date. It took a while of dating for me to truly appreciate Mr. Thang’s sincerity towards me, and his concern for me through each show, and indeed it was destiny that tied our lives together when I became an artist under his entertainment company.

Love, marriage and having a child are three very different milestones. How do you feel about each other’s changes at each of these stages?

Dong Nhi: I feel so happy to have experienced these three precious stages in Mr. Thang’s life. He came to me with a sincere, simple heart, full of enthusiasm and ambition. After getting married, he became a responsible man who knew how to care. After becoming a father, he transformed into a gentle dad who knew to understand and share with his wife and child.

Ong Cao Thang: As for me, Nhi from the early days of dating was always full of energy, living positively, passionate and loving her profession.

My wife, Dong Nhi, whole-heartedly takes care of the family and those around her, skillfully managing all aspects. After becoming a mother, Nhi has sacrificed more for the family to share life’s burdens with me.

What do you think are the core components that have sustained longevity and stability in your love life?

Ong Cao Thang: I believe it’s respect, trust, and always thinking of each other. When we respect each other, all difficulties can be quickly resolved, and trust helps the dreams of the other to fly higher and farther, which is necessary as we both work in the creative arts. Thinking of each other has become a daily habit. No matter how busy we are, we still have to take time to care about our family because that is the ultimate goal that we always strive for in life.

Have you ever regretted stepping back from the stage, Ong Cao Thang?

Ong Cao Thang: For me, singing was never the ultimate goal, so I have absolutely no regrets. I felt that I had an affinity and was more suited to behind-the-scenes work after spending some time exploring the arts. I know what my strengths are. I’m happier seeing my stars shine on stage, achieving their desired goals.

How has Ong Cao Thang become a driving force in Dong Nhi’s art?

Dong Nhi: Mr. Thang is one of the great inspirations in my work. He is passionate about his work and always encourages me to keep the flame of my profession from extinguishing over the years. Therefore, in my 15-year career, I have hardly had any time to rest, but always strive to contribute in many different ways. Thanks to Ong Cao Thang, my inspiration, I am still here to sing and serve my audience.

Celebrity romances are always in the public eye. Although happiness is a personal matter, it seems your relationship also carries an invisible responsibility to society. What are your thoughts on this?

Dong Nhi: I think that’s natural. When we receive so much love from everyone, our responsibility must also be great. We don’t see it as pressure, but rather as a natural duty, no different from the responsibility to our family that we always have to cherish. I always feel happy and grateful for what I have, and will always try my best to live up to the expectations of those who have loved me.

Can you reveal any upcoming projects to Heritage Fashion’s readers?

Dong Nhi: This year marks the 15th anniversary of my singing career, so there will certainly be a project that’s more special than previous years. It is an honor to accompany Heritage Fashion on this occasion.
