Inspired by the court music of imperial Hue, Miss Vietnam Ngoc Han combined with Hue painter Pham Trinh to convey the images and elegant spirit of this era on áo dài in her new collection, “Hue Royal Court Music.”

Through this collection, Ngoc Han focuses on traditional materials such as chiffon, silk and brocade. A heat transfer printing technique is used to make Pham Trinh’s paintings stand out vividly on each garment and to create a striking effect, the designer skillfully utilizes beadwork on the áo dài. The end result conveys the culture, lifestyle and values of the Hue royal court.
