With Vietnam Airlines, designer Cong Tri brought his collection “To Catch a Falling Dewdrop” to bustling Frankfurt, a long-standing commercial hub of Germany, after his successful debut at Fashion Week New York. Wearing Tri’s outfits, the model shimmers like the morning dew in this historic yet modern city. The collection uses sophisticated draping techniques to create 3D bows and other forms on the dresses. Corsets made from net fabric wrap around the body, following the technical shaping standards of haute couture fashion.

In addition to Lanh My A silk, other types of silk, organza, brocade and metallic fabrics are utilized by the designer. Dominant colors of black, white and metallic are highlighted by yellow, red and shimmering bronze pink. The classic forms of high-end fashion combined with delicate handling of materials by Cong Tri allow Vietnamese fashion to shine in the German autumn.
