Behind swift changes in online utilities of Vietnam Airlines’ website and mobile application are the efforts of the newly formed Digital Marketing Department (DMD) that is just over six months old.

What if passengers want to book cheap tickets in the fastest way?
MIDNIGHT SALE allows passengers to save up to 50% on ticket fares when buying tickets online. Other sales programs include Flight Pass Option, Blooming Thursday, Week-End sales and Quick sales app
What is the fastest way for passengers to exchange their tickets?
Passengers can exchange their tickets by going to Manage Booking tab on the website of Vietnam Airlines, entering their Reservation Code and selecting Exchange Tickets without having to send an email or contact the Customer Service Center.
What if passengers cannot contact support channels?
CHATBOT ONLINE, available 24/7 on the website, has been introduced by DMD since March, 2020 to automatically answer questions related to the airline’s products and services.
DMD shares its future digitalization projects
Understanding and meeting customers’ needs: Develop a digitalized customer management and care system through the personalization of customer groups, taking them right to their desired programs.
Diversifying payment channels: Develop popular payment methods for each market such as MoMo, QR Pay, Internet Banking (Vietnam); Konbini (Japan); KCP (South Korea); and UnionPay, Alipay, WeChat Pay (China)
Strengthening utilities of mobile application: In addition to allowing passengers to get the latest news, the mobile application will enable passengers to download films with their reservation codes. DMD will continue to bring user-friendly changes to the interface.
These are just a few of the projects the Department is pursuing to establish a “digital runway” for the national flag carrier with the enthusiasm of youth along with Swiftness, Boldness and faith in Success.
