Mr. Thuan Bui
Join Heritage Magazine as we admire the vibrant and invigorating beauty of waterfalls in Lang Son province, captured through the lens of photographer Mr. Thuan Bui.
Lang Son is endowed with magnificent mountains and lush forests. With stunning nature, diverse ethnic minority cultures, and rich culinary traditions, photographers can find plenty of inspiration in the area’s beautiful surroundings.
As a local photographer and avid nature lover, Mr. Thuan Bui joined some friends on two summer treks, following a route leading to the Mau Son Mountain Range in Loc Binh district.
Only a 35km-drive from Lang Son, plus a 2km-trek through the wilderness, this route remains relatively uncharted. The forest trail was not too difficult, winding through rolling hills adorned with pine and eucalyptus trees and stands of lush bamboo. Following some calm streams, the path ultimately revealed the tranquil beauty of the waterfalls, which gently cascaded into serene pools, shimmering under the radiant sunlight. The most challenging part involves navigating the steep, rocky cliffs that flank the waterfalls. Hikers who do so are rewarded by a heavenly dip in the falls’ refreshing waters.
This outing offers a temporary escape from bustling city life and the omnipresent lure of smartphones. It’s time to appreciate nature’s priceless and untamed gifts.
