Please research and follow all regulations for departing Vietnam and entering your destination country, along with the latest rules for Covid-19 prevention and control. As of press time, the following rules applied to travelers entering the United States:
– All travelers aged two or older arriving in the United States are required to present documentation of a negative Covid-19 test taken within three calendar days before departure or proof of recovery from Covid-19 within 90 days before departure. They
must also abide by all Covid-19 testing and quarantine regulations for each respective US state.
– From November 08, 2021, all air passengers to the U.S. on a non-immigrant visa are required to be fully vaccinated and to present proof of vaccination before boarding an aircraft. They must also present to the airline documentation of a negative Covid-19 test taken within three calendar days before their flight.
– Fully vaccinated citizens of the United States, lawful permanent residents – (LPRs – also known as green card holders), and air travelers on immigrant visas must present documentation of a negative Covid-19 test taken within three days before their flight. If not fully vaccinated, they must present to the airline documentation of a negative Covid-19 test taken no more than one day before their flight.
Below is a list of medical centers that, for a fee, provide Covid-19 tests for travelers departing from Vietnam. Please prepare your passport and air tickets in case they are required during your appointments.
