“I stand here gazing at a corner of the sea,
Sunrise arrives, a new day begins.
Where have the night clouds been swept by the wind?
Only the brilliant sun remains.”
– Excerpt from the poem “Dawn at Sea” by Tran Ha Yen
Every coastal dawn marks a quiet transition from darkness to light, sparking the joy of a brand-new day. As the rosy light slowly spreads across the sea’s surface, the faint outlines of boats bob gently on the waves. As well as bringing a deep sense of peace, dawn at sea also pulses with the daily tempo of life for those who make their living from the ocean. Fleets of fishing boats return to shore, their holds full of shrimp and fish, while the lively sounds of seaside markets echo along the shoreline, blending with the rhythm of the waves. In the gentle cool of morning, the sea feels both calm and full of energy.
