The emblem of modern luxury

In the summer of 2017, British luxury SUV brand Land Rover unveiled the all-new Velar model. The name “Velar” originates from the Latin word “Velare,” (to cover or veil) signifying the mystery of a vehicle being concealed, promising to burst onto the scene with many surprises. The aim was to create a vehicle that is both luxurious and stylish, with impressive performance inherited from the Land Rover 4×4 DNA.

Chief Creative Officer of JLR, Gerry McGovern, has said that the Velar is a “game-changer,” leading the way with a fresh design language and bringing a new concept of allure in line with the inherent modern luxury of the brand. Just like the original Range Rover prototype from 1967, the new generation Velar is a pioneer on its way to changing the existing definition of Range Rover vehicles. This photoshoot represents the outstanding aesthetic spirit of Range Rover Velar, showcasing the leading position in modern luxury design philosophy of this vehicle line.
